Anyways imagine Wreckers making stops at Kimia to pick up the Newest and Latest™ in weapons and equipment and every time, while the rest of them just flirt with pretty scientists, Whirl’s just trying to score a date with the pretty weapons engineer who’s covered in grease and burns.

Roadbuster approaches handsome stud Chromedome, is immediately harassed and threatened by a data stick.

“Do I want to break him or make out with him”

I don’t think Tarn’s confusion is limited to Autobots. I’m absolutely sure he had this approach to Deathsaurus and the thing is, Deathsaurus also has it for Tarn, the only difference being that Deathsaurus is fully self aware he’s gonna send Tarn to heaven and the only thing he’s unsure of is how literal that’ll be

ABSOLUTELY AGREE and also, “

Deathsaurus is fully self aware he’s gonna send Tarn to heaven and the only thing he’s unsure of is how literal that’ll be,” is a magnificent and true phrase.

A kind hug

Patreon sketch reward for one of my patrons (that I can’t tag because nothing is working here anymore apparently;;;)
Thank you so much for your support!! ;w;

IT WAS ME AND I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!

Thank you!  I just can’t get over how perfect this is – how relaxed and safe Rung looks, how tender Whirl’s expression is, just… yes. ❤  I am so happy to see both of them getting a sorely-needed hug!

In relation to why Tarn started targeting Pharma – Meanwhile in my shipper’s mind… Tarn: Oh great an autobot I used to know! Time 2 do my stuff. *like a month later* o no i want 2 date him / In all seriousness, that sounds like a pretty sound explanation as far as canon is concerned. I could see it being a mix of Ambulon showing up/knowing Pharma before the war/seeing him as a reliable source of t-cogs.

Honestly, I think it may have happened exactly like that.  Except that Tarn isn’t always the most self-aware (to put it mildly), so it’s entirely possible that “oh no I want to date him” got muddled up with Tarn’s desire for t-cogs/to generally fuck with his former Autobot comrades and prove he’s so over that part of his life, so he’s busy going YES I will make grand romantic overtures and slowly seduce him, THAT WILL SHOW THE AUTOBOT SCUM and the other DJD members are just like, “Um.”

“Should we intervene?”

“No, Tarn does this every few centuries.  When he gets a crush on an Autobot, he has real difficulty figuring out if he wants to break them or make out with them.”

“… which one does he normally settle on?”

“Both.”

Something that we should have gotten from idw but didn’t: Prowl vs Lockdown. For serious, they’re in the same continuity and everything and they’re way different from their TFA counterparts it would have been interesting and I’ve only seen like one piece of fan art about it.

It would have been interesting!  I think it would have been a wildly different dynamic – not just because their personalities are different, but because in IDW, they’re in radically different weight classes.  Lockdown is still a random Decepticon-aligned-ish bounty hunter, but Prowl is second-in-command of the entire Autobot military.  I doubt Prowl would ever need to deal with people like Lockdown directly, and if he did, he’d probably eat him alive.

But put them in a situation that helps level out that advantage – say, stranded somewhere together, with only their wits and what they have on them – and things could get really interesting, really quickly.  Or, for that matter, put Prowl in a position where he needs Lockdown’s help off the books, and all of a sudden the Autobot 2IC has to bargain with the outlaw. 🙂  (Hell, this could fit nicely with one of my favourite AU ideas.  Suppose Getaway survived the whole Lost Light situation and Prowl wanted to find him before anyone else did… who might he go to? :D)

I was wondering if you’ve ever watched Brave Police J-Decker? Its an anime Takara made in the mid-90’s to sell repainted Transformers toys. Its pretty good, lots of humor, sads, and character development. I think you’d like it.

I’ve watched a bit!  It’s adorable – I’ve always thought of Decker as being kind of how pre-war Prowl might have turned out if the war had never happened. 🙂  Should finish watching it one of these days.
